1.3 Scope, nature and purpose of the processing

Arthur Hunt processes personal data for its executive-search and HR activity, for three purposes:

  1. Objective 1 - within a client mandate: identify potential candidates, raise their interest in a vacancy, evaluate the relevance of their career path and profile against the role (including through personality-inventory tools), present candidates to Arthur Hunt's clients, and take references from people the candidate indicates.
  2. Objective 2 - spontaneous applications: receive, record and keep unsolicited CVs whose background matches the searches we regularly run, and meet some applicants to help their search or in anticipation of a future mandate.
  3. Objective 3 - maintaining our network: keep and develop the firm's network of managers, experts and directors and follow their careers - an integral part of the executive-search business, and useful to the members of that network.

1.4 Categories of personal data processed

  • Data identifying the candidate: surname, first name, gender and date of birth.
  • Information enabling initial tests: postal address, mobile phone number, e-mail address.
  • Information to verify eligibility and selection for the recruitment process: nationality, foreign languages, education, professional experience, former and/or current employers, recommendations, diplomas, certifications.
  • The results of the initial tests, including outcomes generated (automatically or not) by profiling programmes and other related tests.

1.5 Where the data is stored

In the recruitment and/or HR-management process, personal data is stored on the Arthur Hunt Group's dedicated server, in an electronic database accessed by its employees.

1.6 Recipients of the data

Processed personal data may be sent to Arthur Hunt's clients for the purpose of carrying out our activity, and to member companies of the Arthur Hunt Group; to third-party organisations providing applications, data-processing or IT services to Arthur Hunt; and to Arthur Hunt's consultants and other professional advisers. When data is shared, contractual arrangements and confidentiality and security mechanisms ensure compliance with data-protection, confidentiality and security requirements.

1.7 Retention period

To carry out the activity described above - top / middle-management recruitment - the processed personal data is kept for a period of 5 years, or until Arthur Hunt receives the withdrawal of consent (per the data subject's consent in Section 2).
